Linda Knoll

Linda Knoll, a lifelong resident of the San Joaquin Valley, strives to share the area's richness with people of all ages. Painting in watercolor, Linda recreates images she has seen throughout Central California. Her background in the arts includes a BFA in graphic design from University of the Pacific in Stockton, California and involvement in music, theater and the visual arts at a young age. She has previously had her watercolor picture book “Patient for Pumpkins” published by North Atlantic Books. After a 25-year career as a graphic designer and business owner, Linda earned a teaching credential in 2003. Linda now serves on the board of directors at Central California Art Association and coordinates the CLASS program which places visiting artists into local elementary schools.

Statement: “Recently, I have delved deeper into the significance of detail, patterns and light. I want my audience to be intimate with my subjects.”
